in Kane County
These new kayak launches are fully accessible, offering greater inclusivity to individuals who use wheelchairs, live with disabilities, or have mobility challenges by improving the ease of entering and exiting a boat. These launches are designed with the input of adaptive athletes, using the best practices in dock and marina engineering.
Kane County is thrilled to announce we opened five new non-motorized watercraft launches along the Fabulous Fox! National Water Trail. These launches are designed to enhance public access to the Fox River for canoeing and kayaking enthusiasts. Click Here for more information on each launch site.
